The Imperial Wins DreamHack Summer

The Imperial accomplished a stunning upset win against OpTic Gaming on Monday to become DreamHack Summer champions.

The Imperial completed the championship going undefeated in the tournament. Imperial began its run going 2-0 in the group stages against North and AGO Esports. The team then beat Gambit in the semifinals, winning 2-0. Imperial followed that by beating OpTic Gaming in another 2-0 series to win the event.

The team beat GODSENT in the European qualifier to earn the chance to play in DreamHack Summer. The young team, formerly known as MANS NOT HOT, was signed by Imperial in March.

The Imperial's last outing saw the team finish 7-8th place at DreamHack Open Tours. This was before the team's recent signing of Kevin "kRYSTAL" Amend, who was signed only six days before the start of DreamHack Summer
