New $50,000 LAN tournament announced in Moscow

MPKBK, the organizer of a Moscow-based Counter-Strike 2 LAN tournament series, has announced a new event titled WINLINE CIS LAN Season 9. The event will take place in Moscow from October 20 to October 23, 2026, featuring a prize pool of $50,000.

Sixteen squads will compete in the event. The group stage will follow the GSL format, while the playoffs will play out in a Single Elimination format. All matches will be best-of-three (BO3).

Registration for WINLINE CIS LAN Season 9 opens on September 27 on a first-come, first-served basis. The registration fee is $3,000 per team.

Notably, Nemiga won the recent MPKBK CIS LAN Season 7, defeating Nemesis with a scoreline of 3-1 in the final. That competition took place in Moscow from September 13 to 16 with 16 participating teams.
