MistR joins BBL

22-year-old Danish esports athlete Mikkel "MistR" Thomsen has BBL. He replaced Jonas "Boye" Boye Østergaard, whom the Turkish club has moved to the bench.

Team manager Derya Üçpınar commented on MistR's signing as follows:

His impact was noticeable from the very first practice sessions, bringing a new level of energy and intensity to the team. We believe that overcoming the challenges he has faced will only make him stronger, and we’re excited to support him as he takes this next step with BBL. We’re building this project with long-term ambitions, and we’re confident that MistR will be an important part of what we aim to achieve.

MistR had been competed for Sashi since July of last year. A few days ago, the club benched him alongside Casper "Cabbi" Jensen, bringing in Australians Tynan "TjP" Purtell and Jordan "Hatz" Bajic to take their places. Thomsen departed Sashi on October 8 and became a free agent.

BBL currently holds the 39th spot in Valve's official world ranking of Counter-Strike 2 teams. The squad's next event will be Stake Pulse Beat III, which kicks off on October 12.
