NAVI, FURIA, Team Spirit, and Aurora advance to Esports World Cup 2026 playoffs
Fourth day of the Esports World Cup 2026 Counter-Strike 2 LAN tournament, currently underway in Paris, has concluded. Today, the participants played six more matches in the group stage.
In Group B, NAVI defeated The MongolZ, while FURIA bested 9z – the winners of these matchups advanced to the tournament playoffs. Furthermore, in the lower bracket, paiN prevailed over Wildcard, while magic dispatched 3DMAX – the losing squads were eliminated from the competition.
In Group A, Team Spirit defeated BIG, while Aurora got the better of JiJieHao – the losers ended their run at the event, while the winners advanced to the next stage.
Esports World Cup 2026 will take place from August 12 to 23, 2026, in Paris, France. The total prize pool of the event is $2 million, which will be divided among 32 squads. More detailed information about the competition can be found via the link.
