EWC 2026 open LAN qualifier groups announced

Full team list for the open qualifier for Esports World Cup 2026 has been determined following the registration period. Sixty-four teams have signed up for the three-day LAN qualifier, competing for four spots at the tournament.

Squads competing for a berth in the main stage include Liquid, BC.Game, HEROIC, 100 Thieves, NRG, DENDELE, and many others. The qualifiers will begin with 16 groups of four rosters, playing in a Double Elimination format. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Single Elimination playoffs. All matches will be BO3.

Esports World Cup 2026 will be held from August 12 to 23, 2026, in Paris, France. The event's total prize pool will amount to $2 million, divided among 32 squads. The list of invitees can be found via the link.
