PGL Astana 2026 EVPs and best five announced

HLTV.org has published a list of esports athletes awarded the Exceptionally Valuable Player (EVP) title following the recent PGL Astana 2026 in Kazakhstan.

The EVP title was secured by players who demonstrated outstanding results at the event but were not crowned MVP. The list features representatives of Team Spirit, FURIA, Falcons, MOUZ, and 9z. A total of eight esports athletes are in it:

 Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov (Falcons);
 Dorian "xertioN" Berman (MOUZ);
 Maxim "kyousuke" Lukin (Falcons);
 Danil "molodoy" Golubenko (FURIA);
 Dmitry "sh1ro" Sokolov (Team Spirit);
 Andrey "tN1R" Tatarinovich (Team Spirit);
 Luciano "luchov" Herrera (9z);
 Franco "dgt" Garcia (9z).

HLTV also presented an all-star roster of the best players from PGL Astana 2026 in each role – three representatives of Team Spirit and one player from Falcons and G2 each.

PGL Astana 2026 took place from May 9th to 17th in Astana, Kazakhstan, with 16 squads participating. The total prize pool of the competition was $800,000. In the final, Team Spirit crushed Falcons with a scoreline of 3-0. Danil "donk" Kryshkovets was named the event's MVP.
