CS Asia Championships 2026 viewer's guide

From May 20th to 24th, Shanghai, China, will host the prestigious Counter-Strike 2 LAN tournament, CS Asia Championships 2026, with $400,000 in prize money on the line.

The event kicks off with the group stage, which will be played in a Double Elimination format (GSL, two groups of eight teams, with the opening matches being best-of-one, and the remaining matchups being best-of-three). Three squads from each group will advance to the playoffs: the winners will go directly to the semi-finals, while the rosters that place second and third will advance to the quarter-finals.

The competition playoffs will be held in a Single Elimination format, with best-of-three matches. The final will play out in a BO5 format.
