Team Spirit and 9z through to PGL Astana 2026 playoffs

Third day of PGL Astana 2026 has concluded in Kazakhstan, with teams playing another eight matches of the group stage. The results determined the first playoff participants of the tournament.

9z, Team Spirit, Gentle Mates, Aurora, Falcons, The MongolZ, magic, and The Huns emerged victorious from today's matchups, defeating MOUZ, FURIA, HEROIC, PARIVISION, Monte, G2, K27, and Fisher College, respectively.

As a result, 9z and Team Spirit finished the group stage with flawless 3-0 records, securing spots in the playoffs. On the other hand, K27 and Fisher College failed to win a single match and were eliminated from the tournament.

The fourth round of the Swiss stage at PGL Astana 2026 is scheduled for tomorrow, May 12. Teams will be split into two pools based on their records (2-1 and 1-2), meaning squads will only face opponents from the same pool.
