hally to miss IEM Rio 2026 and PGL Astana 2026

Team Spirit's coach Sergey "hally" Shavaev will miss the next two tournaments due to health issues. His replacement, academy's coach Dmitry "S0tF1k" Forostyanko, will attend IEM Rio 2026 and PGL Astana 2026. The club officially announced the news via its website.

Team Spirit regrets to announce that at the moment Sergey is battling certain health issues, therefore we have decided to give him some time off, so that hally can come back healthy and charged up for IEM Cologne Major preparations.

In his absence, Dmitriy "S0tF1k" Forostyanko will be acting head coach. Our players know him really well: back at TSA Dmitriy established himself as one of the most promising coaches in today's CS.

Besides, our new psychologist Vladimir Petrov will be joining the team at IEM Rio.

IEM Rio 2026 will be held from April 13-19, 2026, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The prize pool of the event will amount to $300,000, divided among 16 squads.

PGL Astana 2026 will take place from May 7-17, 2026, in Astana, Kazakhstan. The prize pool of the competition rosters will be $800,000, divided among 16 teams.
