500 disbands CS2 roster

Esports organization 500 has announced the complete disbandment of its Counter-Strike 2 roster. The official statement, published on the club's X social media account, did not provide any reasons for the decision. However, according to Tsvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov, 500's management decided to completely withdraw from the discipline due to a new Valve rule prohibiting sponsorship from skin betting and roulette sites.

Notably, Cai "CYPHER" Watson joined 500 several weeks ago. The 22-year-old British esports athlete joined the team on loan from fnatic. He replaced Hristiyan "REDSTAR" Pironkov.

Currently, 500 sits 66th among the world's top Counter-Strike 2 teams according to Valve. The squad has already announced its search for a new organization.

Ex-500 lineup looks as follows:

 Aleks "Rainwaker" Petrov
 Tsvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov
 Hampus "hampus" Poser
 Sebastian "volt" Maloș
 Cai "CYPHER" Watson

 Daniel "djL" Narancic (coach)
