HLTV: Astralis to sign phzy

According to unofficial reports, 23-year-old Swedish esports athlete Love "phzy" Smidebrant will take over as the new AWPer for Astralis' Counter-Strike 2 roster. HLTV.org reports this, citing its own sources.

Should the rumors be confirmed, Smidebrant will replace Nicolai "device" Reedtz, who departed Astralis several days ago (rumor has it that his new home will be 100 Thieves).

It was previously reported that phzy was acquired from 9INE by an unnamed organization. Smidebrant's average rating over the past three months is 1.11 (in 50 maps).

Astralis currently sits 15th in Valve's official ranking of the world's strongest Counter-Strike 2 rosters. The squad placed 17th-19th at StarLadder Budapest Major 2025.

 Astralis are now:

 Viktor "Staehr" Staehr
 Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard
 Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen

 Casper "ruggah" Due (coach)
