phzy parts ways with 9INE – gets acquired by another club

23-year-old Swedish esports athlete Love "phzy" Smidebrant has been acquired from 9INE by an unnamed organization. 9INE officially announced the deal via their X social media account.

Note that Smidebrant joined 9INE on July 31st of last year, but in early September, Wildcard, the organization with which he was contracted, cancelled his loan deal and recalled him. In early December, Love permanently moved to 9INE. phzy also competed for the Swedish club from August 2019 to March 2020.

Smidebrant's average rating over the past three months is 1.11 (in 50 maps). It is still unknown who will fill his position on the 9INE roster.

Currently, 9INE occupy 39th place in Valve's official ranking of the world's best Counter-Strike 2 teams. The squad missed StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 in Hungary.
