It's official: gla1ve takes over as 100 Thieves coach
30-year-old Danish esports athlete Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander has taken over as the coach of the new 100 Thieves Counter-Strike 2 roster. The American club officially announced the news via its X social media account.
Last month, Rossander announced the end of his pro Counter-Strike career, which began in 2010. On December 18, gla1ve departed ENCE following the expiration of his contract and became a free agent. This will be Lukas's first stint as a coach.
Notably, several weeks ago, 100 Thieves officially revealed their return to the pro Counter-Strike scene after over five years away from the game. Former FaZe member Håvard "rain" Nygaard became the first player on 100 Thieves' new starting five. Additionally, rumor has it that Nicolai "device" Reedtz may take over as an AWPer on the team.
