Virtus.pro benches ICY, replaced by academy player
Esports organization Virtus.pro has announced further changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster. The club benched Kaisar "ICY" Faiznurov, who had been with the team since December last year after spending several months with Cloud9. The vacant position has been filled by Vladimir "b1st" Krasikov, a player from Virtus.pro's youth CS2 roster.
Notably, 17-year-old Vadim "tO0RO" Arkov from VP.Prodigy also joined the squad last month, replacing Denis "electroNic" Sharipov, who recently moved to BC.Game.
Virtus.pro currently ranks 23rd among the world's top Counter-Strike 2 teams according to Valve. The team placed 7th-8th at CS Asia Championships 2025 in China and entered the top 11 at FISSURE Playground #2.
