ESIC issues temporary ban to SENZA
The Esports Ethics Commission (ESIC) announced that "current rostered players, coaches, and team staff of SENZA" have received temporary suspensions from competition, which will remain in effect pending the conclusion of the ongoing investigation. The ban is related to alleged violations of the ESIC rules, including possible use of external information, betting misconduct, and account irregularities.
Until recently, SENZA competed in various online tournaments in Europe, such as CCT, Exort The Proving Grounds, and European Pro League.
In early September, SENZA announced an internal investigation into one of its players, Kirsan "byek" Ivanov, who was accused of account sharing and cheating. The organization stated that because byek refused to comment, he was fined approximately $30,000 and removed from the squad.
At the end of September, SENZA parted ways with the rest of its roster and unveiled a new lineup on October 3. ESIC's statement stated that the roster formerly known as ROSY, the same one the organization dropped at the end of September, is being investigated.
