aliStair departs SemperFi
27-year-old Australian esports athlete Alistair "aliStair" Johnston announced his departure from SemperFi's Counter-Strike 2 roster via his personal X social media account.
"We didn't reach our potential and yield the results over at SemperFi. I wish the players nothing but luck with the rest of their journey", is how Johnston explained his decision. The player also added that he is a free agent.
aliStair has been competing for the team since March of this year, while before that he represented FlyQuest. Alistair's average rating over the past three months is 1.08 (in 31 maps). It is still unknown who will replace him in the SemperFi roster.
At the moment, SemperFi occupies the 102nd place in Valve's world ranking. The team is also in the top 109 strongest Counter-Strike 2 squads according to HLTV.org.
