Updated team ranking released by Valve – it will determine invites to two CS2 LAN tournaments

Valve has released an update to the official ranking of the world's strongest Counter-Strike 2 teams – it will be used to issue invites to events such as IEM Chengdu 2025 and Thunderpick World Championship 2025.

IEM Chengdu 2025 will be held from November 3 to 9 this year in Chengdu, China; 16 squads will compete for $300,000 in prize money. Thunderpick World Championship 2025 will take place from October 15 to 19 in Malta with the participation of eight rosters; the prize pool for the competition will amount to $850,000.

Earlier, HLTV.org also unveiled an updated ranking of the world's strongest Counter-Strike 2 teams. Team Spirit rose to third place after winning IEM Cologne 2025.
