Imperial rounds out CS2 roster
24-year-old Portuguese esports athlete José "Shr" Gil has joined Imperial's Counter-Strike 2 roster. The organization officially announced this via its X social media account. Cespedes replaced Lucas "decenty" Bacelar, who was benched by the club a few days ago.
Shr competed for SAW from December 2024 to February 2025, after which the organization moved him to the bench, where he remains to this day.
Note that at the beginning of the month, Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes officially returned to Imperial's Counter-Strike 2 squad, replacing Richard "chayJESUS" Seidy.
Imperial placed 28th-30th at the recent BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 in the USA. The team is currently in the top 41 of Valve's world ranking.
