Rumors: Imperial to sign former SAW player

According to unconfirmed information, 24-year-old Portuguese esports athlete José "Shr" Gil may join Imperial's Counter-Strike 2 roster. HLTV.org reported this, citing its own sources.

Shr competed for SAW from December 2024 to February 2025, after which the organization moved him to the bench, where he remains to this day. Gil should replace Lucas "decenty" Bacelar in Imperial's squad, who the Brazilian club is rumored to be benching in the near future.

Note that a few days ago, Imperial officially announced changes to its CS2 roster: the organization benched Richard "chayJESUS" Seidy. The vacant position in the team may be filled by Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes.

Imperial placed 28th-30th at BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025. The squad is currently in the top 44 of Valve's world ranking.

Current  Imperial's lineup looks as follows:

 Vinicius "VINI" Figueiredo
 Kaiky "noway" Santos
 Lucas "decenty" Bacelar
 Santino "try" Rigal

 Rafael "zakk" Fernandes (coach)
