HEROIC part ways with assistant coach
24-year-old Swedish esports athlete Mikael "sheddaN" Mellström has departed HEROIC's Counter-Strike 2 roster, where he was an assistant coach. The organization officially announced this via its X social media account.
Mellström has been working with HEROIC since September 2022, woke before that he was a coach for fnatic and an analyst for Dignitas. It is not yet known who will fill his position in the team.
Note that a few days ago, the Norwegian club also announced the departure of Alvaro "SunPayus" Garcia and Eetu "sAw" Sahi from the roster. In addition, the organization moved Yasin "xfl0ud" Koç to the bench.
HEROIC placed 17th-19th at BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 in the United States. The squad currently occupies 14th place in Valve's world rankings.
