MIBR benches Lucaozy

Brazilian esports club MIBR benched Lucas "Lucaozy" Neves. According to the official announcement published on the organization's X social media account, this decision was made on the player's own initiative.

Lucaozy explained his decision as follows:

I made this decision before the major after a lot of thought. Despite several attempts to adapt, I realized that my game didn't fit the best with the role I was playing in the team's system.

As a result, my performance was below what I expected. I tried to find myself and adapt several times in the space I had, and I believe that in this Major I was able to demonstrate a little of the player I know I am.

Neves joined MIBR last September, while before that he competed for Fluxo and Sharks. The average rating of the esports athlete over the past three months is 0.94 (in 32 maps). It is not yet known who will replace him in the squad.

MIBR placed 17th-19th at the ongoing BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 in Counter-Strike 2. The roster won two out of five matches in the second stage of the event. At the moment, the team occupies 19th place in Valve's world ranking.

 MIBR are now:

 Raphael "exit" Lacerda
 Felipe "insani" Yuji
 Rafael "saffee" Costa
 Breno "brnz4n" Poletto

 Jhonatan "jnt" Silva (coach)
