SAW kicks two players and coach
Portuguese esports club SAW has announced big changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster due to unsatisfactory results.
According to the official announcement published on social media, Oscar "AZUWU" Bell and Jan "cej0t" Dyl are no longer part of the organization. In addition, SAW has benched coach Maikil "Golden" Selim and parted ways with performance coach Oscar Hemby.
AZUWU and cej0t have been with the team since February of this year (they replaced Ricardo "roman" Oliveira and José "Shr" Gil), while Golden has been with the squad since October 2024. It is not yet known which esports players will fill the vacant positions in the starting five.
SAW placed last at MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025 in Mongolia and IEM Melbourne 2025 in Australia. The roster got into the top 14 at ESL Pro League Season 21. The squad currently occupies 39th place in Valve's world ranking.
SAW are now:
João "story" Vieira
