Over 40 BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 participants will compete at Major for first time

42 participants of the upcoming BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 have never competed at Counter-Strike 2 Majors before. Most of them made it to the first stage of the tournament.

They include the players from Nemiga, Kirill "Magnojez" Rodnov from BetBoom Team, Andrey "tN1R" Tatarinovich and Simon "yxngstxr" Boije from HEROIC, Danil "molodoy" Golubenko from FURIA, as well as representatives of Aurora, B8, OG and other teams.

Earlier it became known that 17 esports athletes from Russia will compete at the upcoming Counter-Strike 2 Major in Austin. By this stat, the Russian Federation is in second place, yielding first place to Brazil with 25 players.

BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 will be held from June 3 to 22, 2025 in Austin, Texas. The event will feature a prize pool of $1.25 million, which will be divided among 32 squads. The organizers previously published the seeding of the participants in the first round of the first stage of the competition.
