EVPs and PGL Astana 2025 best five revealed

HLTV.org has published a list of esports athletes which were awarded the title of Exceptionally Valuable Player (EVP) based on the results of the recent PGL Astana 2025 tournament in Kazakhstan.

The EVP title was secured by players who showed outstanding results at the event, but were not chosen as MVP. They are representatives of Team Spirit and Astralis. A total of three esports athletes are on the list:

 Dmitry "sh1ro" Sokolov (Team Spirit);
 Martin "stavn" Lund (Astralis);
Victor "Staehr" Staehr (Astralis).

Moreover, HLTV authors unveiled an all-star roster of the best players at PGL Astana 2025 in each role – it features two representatives of Team Spirit and Astralis as well as one NIP player.

PGL Astana 2025 took place from May 10 to 18 in the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana, with the participation of 16 teams. The total prize pool of the competition was $625,000. In the final, Team Spirit defeated Astralis with a scoreline of 3:1. Danil "donk" Kryshkovets was crowned the most valuable player of the event.
