ESIC bans ATOX payers and coach for betting and match-fixing

The Esports Ethics Commission (ESIC) has revealed the results of its investigation into the Mongolian Counter-Strike 2 team ATOX, which was suspended from all tournaments from PGL, ESL, BLAST and other ESIC partners in March of this year.

The squad was found to have made over 70 suspicious wagers between late 2024 and March 2025, participated in fraudulent schemes and had ties to a Chinese organized crime betting syndicates. In addition, the team played a fixed match against Falcons ESL Pro League Season 20 last September – it ended in a 2-0 victory for Falcons.

As a result, the ATOX players and coach received bans for at least 8 months. The following esports athletes are involved:

 Bat-Enkh "⁠kabal⁠" Batbayar (Lifetime ban)
 Ana-Erdene “nuka” Baasantogtokh (Lifetime ban)
 Tuguldur "⁠FlyNN⁠" Gansukh (Three-year ban)
 Temuulen "⁠MiQ⁠" Byambadalai (One-year ban)
 Otgonlhagva "⁠AccuracyTG⁠" Batjargal (Eight-month ban)
 Munkhsaikhan "⁠Zesta⁠" Erdenebaatar (Eight-month ban)

The last two players on the list, according to the announcement from ESIC, are guilty only of concealing information about violations by their teammates; flyNN and MiQ were also accused of connivance. At the same time, the statement from the commission says that the players who received a lifetime ban admitted to their misdeeds.
