maNkz enters free agency and announces search for team as coach

27-year-old Danish esports athlete Marcus "maNkz" Kjeldsen parted ways with the American club M80 and officially became a free agent.

Marcus added that he is ready to return to the Counter-Strike 2 pro scene, but this time as a coach. He announced all this via his X social media account.

I would like to announce I am not part of M80 anymore, and I want to thank them for the time we had together! After having a long time off the scene, I am finally ready to come back, but in a different way.

The way i want to contribute is by coaching. I am currently studying, so anything at evenings would be prefered. I can offer ~20,000 hours of experience, good understanding of every role at a very high level, 1050+ maps on HLTV, multiple tier 2/3 trophies.

Note that Kjeldsen competed for M80 from July 2023 to January 2024, after which he was benched due to mental health issues. Since then, the Dane has been inactive.

Before this, maNkz represented ECSTATIC, Lyngby Vikings, CPH Flames and other squads. Throughout his career as a Counter-Strike pro, he has earned $70,000 in prizes.
