Virtus.pro reveals new coach

Esports organization Virtus.pro has introduced the new coach of its Counter-Strike 2 team – Ivan "F_1N" Kochugov. The announcement was published on the club's official website.

F_1N replaced Pavel "PASHANOJ" Legostaev, whom Virtus.pro relieved of his duties as the squad's coach on April 22.

Kochugov's previous team was PARIVISION – he coached them from June to November of last year, after which he was benched; in March of 2025, he became a free agent. Before that, he was a coach at Cloud9 academy and an analyst for the main roster of the American CS club.

Note that the Russian esports athlete had previously represented Virtus.pro (as a Counter-Strike 1.6 player). Ivan himself commented on his appointment as follows:

Denis "electroNic" Sharipov's roster lost two matches in a row in the group stage of IEM Melbourne 2025 and got relegated from the event, taking the last place and receiving $4,000 in prizes as a reward. The team currently occupies 11th place in Valve's world ranking.
