MOUZ and The MongolZ advance to IEM Melbourne 2025 playoffs

MOUZ and The MongolZ are the first squads to advance to the final stage of IEM Melbourne 2025, having won two games in a row in their groups. In the upper bracket semi-finals, MOUZ defeated GamerLegion (13:6 on Inferno, 16:13 on Nuke), while The MongolZ bested FaZe (13:8 on Dust2, 16:13 on Ancient).

In addition, the lower bracket openers have ended, and the losing teams have lost the opportunity to continue their journey at the event. 3DMAX prevailed over BIG (13:5 on Ancient, 19:16 on Dust2), while Complexity got the better of paiN (13:2 on Train, 13:6 on Anubis).

Tomorrow, April 23rd, MOUZ and The MongolZ will fave off in the group final to determine which squad will advance straight to the playoff semi-finals. The lower bracket competition will also continue tomorrow.
