G2 and 3DMAX advance to PGL Bucharest 2025 playoffs

Third playday of PGL Bucharest 2025 has ended in Romania – today the teams played eight more matches of the tournament group stage, having determined the first participants of the playoffs.

The winners of today's matchups are G2, 3DMAX, Apogee, GamerLegion, Virtus.pro, FaZe, Falcons and The MongolZ – they managed to defeat Complexity, Aurora, Astralis, Legacy, FURIA, Rare Atom, paiN and Liquid, respectively.

As a result, G2 and 3DMAX finished the group stage with a 3:0 record and secured tickets to the playoffs. On the contrary, paiN and Liquid did not win a single match out of three and got eliminated from the competition.

The fourth round of the Swiss stage at PGL Bucharest 2025 is scheduled for tomorrow, April 9. The participants will be divided into two pools based on the number of wins and losses (2:1, 1:2); accordingly, the squads will play face the opponents from their pool.
