Former Gaimin Gladiators players may take organization to court

Former members of the Gaimin Gladiators roster are planning to sue the club for illegally terminating their contracts. This was reported by Fredrik "roeJ" Jørgensen during the Bootcamp podcast.

According to the Danish esports athlete, Gaimin Gladiators's management was looking for a way to terminate contracts with several players after the team's poor performance and tried to exploit a clause in the contracts to annul them.

[Gaimin Gladiators] found something they didn't feel we had maintained in the contract and hoped we would take care of ourselves and just get out," roeJ said. "We expect to go to court on that because the basis doesn't really hold up.

We had to make some small content videos every week, where we just talk about our everyday life or whatever. We haven't done that for a few weeks during the time we've been there.

These are also things that need to be maintained. If we don't do that, they have to give us a warning from management, and then there are some steps we have to go through before they can terminate based on that, and they haven't done that.

Note that roeJ competed for Gaimin Gladiators from July 2024 to January 2025. During this time, the squad failed to achieve any significant success; the team only briefly got into the top 50 of HLTV world ranking.
