Xyp9x to coach MOUZ in BLAST Open Lisbon 2025 playoffs
Coach of MOUZ's Counter-Strike 2 squad Dennis "sycrone" Nielsen will miss the final stage of the BLAST Open Lisbon 2025 Counter-Strike 2 tournament, which will be held in Portugal. The German club officially announced this via its X social media account.
The Danish esports athlete will not be able to attend the event due to personal circumstances – Nielsen will attend his brother's wedding at this time. Instead, Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth, who has been an assistant coach at MOUZ for the past year, will go to the playoffs of the competition.
The team will begin its journey in the final stage of BLAST Open Lisbon 2025 from the quarter-finals – today MOUZ lost to Vitality in the match for reaching the semi-finals of the tournament.
Note that BLAST Open Lisbon 2025 is taking place from March 19 to March 30, 2025. The total prize pool of the event is $400,000, which will be divided among 16 rosters. The final stage of the competition will be held in Lisbon, Portugal; the group stage matches are being played in the BLAST studio in Copenhagen, Denmark.
