FlyQuest benches dexter
American esports club FlyQuest announced changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster. Christopher "dexter" Nong has departed the team – the organization benched him. The official statement was published on the X social media.
Nong has represented FlyQuest since March of last year. The 30-year-old Australian esports athlete was the team's in-game leader. Christopher's average rating over the past three months is 0.91 (in 29 maps). It is not yet known who will fill the vacant position in the starting five.
Dexter himself commented on this announcement as follows:
There was simply too many outside factors in the team to making the start of the year how we wanted as a team. Going to be looking after myself physically more for the time being until I find a new home, but the last few weeks of losses has made my mental stronger then it has ever been, and I'm always appreciative of that.
FlyQuest placed 17th-19th at ESL Pro League Season 21, 15th-16th at PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025, 21st-24th at IEM Katowice 2025 and 9th-16th at BLAST Bounty 2025 Season 1. At the moment, the squad occupies 24th place in Valve's world ranking.
FlyQuest are:
Joshua "INS" Potter
Jay "Liazz" Tregillgas
Declan "Vexite" Portelli
Iulian "regali" Harjãu
Erdenetsogt "erkaSt" Gantulga (coach)
