Sashi parts ways with Altekz

Danish esports club Sashi has officially announced changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster: the organization has parted ways with Alexander "Altekz" Givskov. The statement was published on Sashi's X social media account.

The team's coach Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen explained the change in the starting five as follows:

We had a rough autumn season, and have not been able to fully recover from this yet. We brought in Zyphon and Altekz to add a great portion of firepower, and were curious to see how it would influence the results. The coming period will be about regaining our consistency at the higher level of Counter-Strike we saw previously. To accommodate this goal, we have accepted that changes are needed to find the right balance between firepower, team chemistry and game philosophy.

Altekz has been competing for Sashi since November of last year. Before that, he was part of TSM and Preasy. Givskov's average rating over the past three months is 0.98 (in 73 maps).

According to media reports, the vacant position in the roster will be filled by Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen, whose previous team was TSM. According to rumors, Kristensen has already joined the squad at a bootcamp. Sashi currently occupies 55th place in Valve's world ranking.

 Sashi are now:

 Oliver "IceBerg" Berg
 Philip "Lucky" Ewald
 Casper "Cabbi" Jensen
 Rasmus "Zyphon" Nordfoss

 Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen (coach)
