PGL Bucharest 2025 prize pool distribution changed to include club share

Tournament operator PGL has changed the prize pool distribution for the upcoming PGL Bucharest 2025 Counter-Strike 2 tournament, which kicks off on April 5.

The total amount of money featured remains the same – $1.25 million. However, now 50% of the winnings will be secured by the organizations (the remaining half will go to the players). Similar rules apply to the events from ESL and BLAST.

The updated prize pool distribution for PGL Bucharest 2025 looks as follows:

The Romanian organizer was forced to make such changes after several large organizations boycotted their competitions due to the lack of a share in the revenue.

Earlier, PGL announced the postponement of the closed qualifiers for PGL Bucharest 2025 to later dates. The list includes qualifiers in Europe, North and South America. New dates for the competitions will be announced on March 4.
