GODSENT to assemble new Swedish CS2 roster
Swedish esports club GODSENT will return to the Counter-Strike 2 pro scene with a new Swedish roster. In addition, the organization plans to relaunch its CS2 academy. The announcement was published on GODSENT's official X social media account.
2024 was turbulent, to say the least. We’ve faced challenges that tested us to our core, forcing us to rebuild our club from the ground up. It hasn’t been easy, and there is still work to be done, but we are finding our strength again. We have now laid the foundation for a promising future, and while we still have to put many things right and are paying our debts, we are moving forward with unwavering determination. As God is our witness, we never did, and we never will, give up.
Later today, we will announce our new Swedish Valorant team, with a new Swedish CS team also in the pipeline, alongside further expansion of our CS division with youth and academy initiatives. A new Young Gods project is in the making.
Note that in August of last year, GODSENT revealed its new CS2 squad – it included players from the club's youth team (Young Gods), as well as Frank "Fraaank" Issal and Timmy "Snow" Brune. The team earned less than $800 in prize money in online tournaments and was disbanded in December of 2024.
