GODSENT disbands CS2 roster
Swedish esports club GODSENT has completely disbanded its Counter-Strike 2 roster – all players have departed the organization as free agents. The announcement was published on GODSENT's X social media account.
At the same time, the club does not intend to leave the CS2 pro scene. "As we go into 2025, we are working to start a new team project that has the ability to compete at the international level, and we are currently in conversations with players of interest and will give more updates in the coming weeks", claims the official statement from GODSENT.
Note that in August of this year, GODSENT unveiled its new Counter-Strike 2 roster. The team members are players from the club's academy squad (Young Gods): Liam "MaiL09" Tügel, Charlie "Cham" Ahlm and Leo "Wonder" Wänlund. Frank "Fraaank" Issal and Timmy "Snow" Brune have also joined the team.
The roster has earned less than $800 in prize money at online tournaments over the past few months. At the time of disbandment, the squad occupied 206th place in HLTV ranking.
GODSENT's former roster looks as follows:
Charlie "Cham" Ahlm
Liam "MaiL09" Tügel
Timmy "Snow" Bruhn
Hampus “mogv” Sahlén
Viktor “viz” Silfverskans
Samuel "Zyppe" Martinsson (coach)
