Dates for upcoming CS2 Major unveiled

Tournament operator BLAST has confirmed the final dates for the upcoming Counter-Strike 2 Major – BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025. The tournament will be held from June 3 to 22, 2025 in Austin, Texas. The official announcement was published on BLAST's X social media account.

Invites to the upcoming Major and qualifiers (Major Regional Qualifiers) will be issued on April 7 based on Valve's official ranking. The qualifiers will play out from April 14 to 17 in Europe and from April 15 to 17 in Americas and Asia.

Note that the Counter-Strike 2 developers have updated the rules for holding Majors – starting in 2025, the events will be take place with the participation of 32 teams instead of 24. An additional stage has been added to the tournament structure, which will be held in a Swiss system. The details can be found in our articles.
