alex joins Iberial Soul

29-year-old Spanish esports athlete Alejandro "alex" Masanet has joined Iberial Soul's Counter-Strike 2 squad, which partially consists of former KOI players. He replaced the Portuguese Tiago "JUST" Moura. The official announcement was published on the club's X social media account.

Note that Masanet's previous team was NIP – he competed for it from November 2023 to September 2024, after which the organization benched him. Before that, alex spent over five years in Movistar Riders.

With the updated roster, Iberial Soul will compete at the Counter-Strike 2 online tournament CCT Season 2 Europe Series 16, which kicks off on January 20. The team will also participate in ESL Challenger League Season 49 Europe, which will start on January 21. The team currently occupies 70th place in HLTV ranking.
