sh1ro secures 6th place in ranking of best CS2 players of 2024

Team Spirit's Dmitry "sh1ro" Sokolov secured the sixth place in the ranking of the strongest Counter-Strike 2 players of 2024 according to the authoritative portal HLTV.org.

Among the main achievements of the Russian esports athlete last year were victories at IEM Katowice 2024, BLAST Spring Final 2024, BetBoom Dacha Belgrade Season 2 and Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024. Sokolov received the EVP title at seven tournaments, including Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024, IEM Katowice 2024, BLAST World Final 2024 and others.

sh1ro's average rating at the end of the year amounted to 1.19. The HLTV.org authors noted Dmitry for one of the best survivability rates, the second highest rate of successful clutches, and the second highest rating in pistol rounds.

Note that, HLTV.org has been publishing the top 20 Counter-Strike 2 players of the past year every day since December 25. The three strongest esports athletes will be revealed on January 11 at the HLTV Awards 2024 ceremony. The winner of 5th place will be unveiled tomorrow, January 9, at 20:00 CET. No. 7 in the rating went to Shahar "flameZ" Shushan.
