flameZ – 7th in ranking of best players of 2024

Vitality's Shahar "flameZ" Shushan secured the seventh place in the ranking of the strongest Counter-Strike 2 players of 2024 according to the authoritative portal HLTV.org.

Among the main achievements of the Israeli esports athlete in the past year are the victory at IEM Cologne 2024, second place at ESL Pro League Season 20 and IEM Dallas 2024 and third at four more big events. Shushan received the EVP title at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024, IEM Cologne 2024, BLAST Spring Final 2024 and BLAST Fall Final 2024.

flameZ's average rating at the end of the year amounted to 1.13. The HLTV.org authors noted Shahar for his high number of trades, high rating at the biggest tournaments, and the second-best win rate after a kill.

Notably, HLTV.org has been publishing the top 20 Counter-Strike 2 players of the past year every day since December 25. The best three players will be revealed on January 11 at HLTV Awards 2024. The winner of 6th place will be unveiled tomorrow, January 8, at 20:00 CET. Helvijs "broky" Saukants took 8th place in the ranking.
