Virtus.pro rounds out CS2 roster

Esports organization Virtus.pro has unveiled the last member of its updated Counter-Strike 2 roster – Kaisar "ICY" Faiznurov. Virtus.pro has bought out the Kazakhstani esports athlete from Cloud9.

According to the official announcement published on Virtus.pro's website, a four-year contract was signed with FL4MUS. Faiznurov himself commented on this statement:

This year, we're ready to give it everything we've got to deliver the best results and work tirelessly toward our goals. Your support means the world to us and keeps us pushing forward!

ICY has been competing for Cloud9 since July of this year, while before that he was part of AMKAL and AVANGAR. The average rating of the esports athlete over the past three months amounted to 1.16 (in 24 maps).

Timur "FL4MUS" Marev also joined Virtus.pro today. The rookies replaced David "n0rb3r7" Danielyan and Dzhami "Jame" Ali, who were benched.

Note that Virtus.pro took 20th-22nd place at the recent Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 in China and earned $10,000 in prize money. At the moment, the team occupies 15th place in HLTV ranking.
