Virtus.pro signs FL4MUS

20-year-old Russian esports athlete Timur "FL4MUS" Marev has joined Virtus.pro's Counter-Strike 2 roster – the organization bought him out of GamerLegion.

According to the official statement published on Virtus.pro's website, a four-year contract was signed with FL4MUS. Virtus.pro CEO Nikolai Petrossian commented on the announcement as follows:

Timur's aggressive play style, his ability to make quick decisions, and out-of-the-box thinking will help the team succeed in the new CS2 era. FL4MUS has already established himself as one of the most promising players on the scene, and we are proud that he now represents Virtus.pro.

We are confident that his ability to handle atypical situations on the maps quickly and his strong character will be a driving force in achieving our goals.

Marev has been competing for GamerLegion since May of this year, while before that he was part of Nemiga Gaming. The esport athlete recorded an average rating of 1.09 (in 41 maps) over the past three months.

Note that yesterday another player departed Virtus.pro's Counter-Strike 2 starting five: the organization benched David "n0rb3r7" Danielyan. Before that, IGL Dzhami "Jame" Ali also parted ways with the squad. Earlier, a rumor also surfaced on the web that Virtus.pro was interested in acquiring Ivan "zweih" Gogin from Nemiga Gaming.

Virtus.pro took 20th-22nd place at the recent Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 in China and earned $10,000 in prize money. The roster currently occupies 15th place in HLTV ranking.
