Altekz joins Sashi
Danish esports club Sashi has announced a replacement in its Counter-Strike 2 roster after an unsuccessful performance at the Shanghai Major qualifier.
The new member of the team is Alexander "Altekz" Givskov – replaced Oliver "kwezz" Rasmussen, who was benched by the organization. Rasmussen has represented Sashi since April 2024.
Altekz's previous team was TSM – he was part of it from July to September of this year. Before that, the 21-year-old Danish esports athlete competed for Preasy/ex-Preasy. Over the course of his career as a Counter-Strike pro player, he has earned $89,000 in prize money.
Sashi finished Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 Europe RMR B with two wins and three losses – the squad bested Astralis and Eternal Fire, but lost to BIG, Virtus.pro and Team Spirit. Thus, the roster did not advance to the upcoming Major in Shanghai. Sashi currently occupies 38th place in HLTV ranking.
Sashi are now:
Oliver "IceBerg" Berg
Philip "Lucky" Ewald
Casper "Cabbi" Jensen
Mikkel "MistR" Thomsen
Alexander "Altekz" Givskov
Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen (coach)
