Rumors: Falcons benches three players

Saudi esports club Falcons benched three members of its Counter-Strike 2 roster. Sheep Esports reported this, citing its own sources.

The payers in question are Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer, Pavle "Maden" Bošković, and Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen. Thus, at the moment, only Emil "Magisk" Reif and coach Danny "zonic" Sørensen remain on the team. The organization itself has not yet made any official statements.

Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev, in turn, yesterday claimed that he would not remain with the squad after a disastrous performance in the qualifier for Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024. Note that the Ukrainian esports athlete competes for Falcons under a loan deal with NAVI, which will be valid until the end of 2024.

Falcons finished Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 Europe RMR A with a 1:3 record. The roster bested ECLOT, but lost to FaZe, SAW, and GamerLegion. Thus, the team will miss the upcoming Shanghai Major in Counter-Strike 2.

 Falcons are now:

 Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer (?)
 Emil "Magisk" Reif
 Pavle "Maden" Bošković  (?)
 Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen  (?)
 Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev (loan)
