s1mple: "I'm not moving to Falcons"

Member of the Falcons Counter-Strike 2 roster Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev will not remain with the team after a disastrous performance in the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 RMR.

"I'm not moving to Falcons", – the Ukrainian esports athlete wrote on his Telegram channel. The Saudi Arabian club itself has not made any official statements on this matter yet.

Note that Alexander joined Falcons in September of this year on a loan deal with NAVI, which will be valid until the end of 2024. Earlier, journalist Richard Lewis reported that Falcons management promised Kostyliev that the team's starting five would be rebuilt around him and Nikola "NiKo" Kovač by the next season.

Notably, Falcons finished Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 Europe RMR A with a 1:3 record. The roster bested ECLOT, but got bested by FaZe, SAW and GamerLegion. Thus, the team lost all chances to advance to the upcoming Shanghai Major in Counter-Strike 2.

 Falcons are now:

 Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer
 Emil "Magisk" Reif
 Pavle "Maden" Bošković
 Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen
 Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev (loan)

 Danny "zonic" Sørensen (coach)
