Cloud9 and Virtus.pro eliminated from Thunderpick World Championship 2024

Final playday of the Thunderpick World Championship 2024 group stage has ended, and all participants of the final stage of the event have been determined.

In the decisive matches for advancing to the playoffs, OG bested Virtus.pro (13:10 on Ancient, 16:14 on Dust2), fnatic defeated Cloud9 (13:8 on Anubis, 5:13 on Ancient, 13:9 on Nuke), Imperial prevailed over NIP (13:2 on Dust2, 16:13 on Vertigo), while BESTIA got the better of M80 (20:22 on Inferno, 13:5 on Ancient, 13:7 on Anubis)

The losing teams shared 9th-12th place at the tournament and did not receive any prize money for participation. The winners advanced to the playoffs, which kick off tomorrow, October 26.

Thunderpick World Championship 2024 is held from October 21 to November 3. The final two days of the event will play out on LAN in Berlin; the remaining matches will be held online. The prize pool of the tournament is $850,000.
