Complexity and Liquid relegated from IEM Rio 2024

Two more teams have finished their journey at the IEM Rio 2024 LAN tournament in Brazil following the second playday.

In the second round of the lower bracket of Group A, Kamil "siuhy" Szaradek's squad prevailed over Complexity (16:12 on Vertigo, 16:12 on Inferno), while the Finn "karrigan" Andersen-led roster bested Liquid (13:6 on Inferno, 13:7 on Dust2).

Complexity and Liquid shared 9th-12th places at the event and received $5,000 in prize money as a reward each. MOUZ and FaZe, in turn, advanced to the lower bracket final in their group – one of these teams will secure a slot in the playoffs on October 9, while the other will get eliminated from the competition.
