NAVI and Vitality to play show match in unusual format

This Saturday, October 5, NAVI and Vitality will play a show match in Counter-Strike 2, which will be held according to non-standard rules.

The teams will play three games. The first map will play out on Tuscan in the classic 5 v 5 MR12 format; the second game will be held in the Arms Race mode in the "everyone for themselves" format on a random map; finally, the third game will take place on a random map in the Hostage Rescue mode.

You can follow the progress of the matchup on team's official Twitch channels. There is no prize pool for the show match. It kicks off at 18:00 Moscow time.

Both teams are registered for IEM Rio 2024, which starts on October 7 – two days after the show match. The competition will take place from October 7 to 13, 2024 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with 16 squads fighting for $250,000 in prizes. The winner will also secure a ticket to IEM Katowice 2025.
