Official: s1mple joins Falcons

Saudi club Falcons has officially confirmed the rumor about Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev joining the team. The announcement was published on the organization's X social media account.

The Ukrainian esports athlete will compete for Falcons on a loan deal from NAVI. The loan agreement is for three months. Accordingly, s1mple will represent the team at the upcoming Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 RMR, which will take place in November.

Kostyliev replaced Álvaro "SunPayus" Garcia, who was benched by the club. The Spaniard has been representing Falcons since December of last year; Garcia's average rating over the past three months amounted to 1.13 (in 68 maps).

Note that Oleksandr has been on NAVI's bench since October of 2023. In March of this year, he competed for Falcons on a loan deal at BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2024. The squad lost the opener and took the last place at the tournament. Currently, Falcons occupies 15th place in HLTV ranking.

 Falcons are now:

 Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer
 Emil "Magisk" Reif
 Pavle "Maden" Bošković
 Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen
 Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev (loan)

 Danny "zonic" Sørensen (coach)
