New Virtus.pro coach banned from standing behind players at ESL Pro League Season 20
Newly appointed coach of Virtus.pro's Counter-Strike 2 roster Pavel "PASHANOJ" Legostaev cannot be on stage at ESL Pro League Season 20 behind his players.
The official announcement released by the organization on its social media accounts explains the reason for the ban: "[PASHANOJ] was appointed after the tournament application deadline".
Despite the coach's absence on stage, Virtus.pro successfully debuted at the 20th season of ESL Pro League – yesterday the squad bested RED Canids with a scoreline of 2:0 in the first round of the Group D bracket. In the next match, the team will face Liquid.
Note that on September 3, Legostaev took over as head coach of Virtus.pro's CS2 roster. In this position, he replaced Andrey "XomA" Mironenko, who joined Virtus.pro in June of this year. Since June of last year, PASHANOJ has been carrying out the duties of an analyst for the team.
